COACHES

GRIT values high level coaching. We pride ourselves on teaching the game and preparing the girls for college basketball. We can guarantee: college run practices, skill development, recruitment help, competitive schedule and a positive style of coaching.

All GRIT coaches were hired because we believe they are in AAU for the right reasons and truly have the girls best interest.

  • Coach Jordan is the Founder of GRIT. She was 2x Gatorade Player of the Year and a Top 40 McDonald Parade All-American. She furthered her career at Washington State University (11’-13’) and the University of Wyoming (13’-16’). There she was a three-time letter winner and a three-time Academic All-Mountain West selection. In 2014 she was also awarded the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year.

Post college, she was an assistant coach for Regis Jesuit High School and received the WBCA Assistant Coach of the Year award in 2017. She also helped coach/build a youth girls club basketball program in Denver for 3 years. She coached and managed for teams aged 4th-11th grade while coaching the top 16U team on the UA circuit. Per her success, she was hired as an assistant coach at the University of Idaho, where she coached for 2 years. Currently she is the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Regis Jesuit High School and overseas all GRIT operations.

  • Coach Jared currently coaches our 17U GIVE team and is Co Director of GRIT. Jared assists with all teams from youth to high school. Jared is what some would call a basketball junkie. He specializes in player development and offensive execution. Going on a decade of coaching he loves to teach the game and help players reach their full potential.
